When I first started as a helping professional over 20 years ago, I did so many things wrong! Through learning Motivational Interviewing, as well as plenty of my own trial and error, I learned what to do and what not to do when people are stuck. Unfortunately, our good intentions to help often backfire, and might even contribute more to client stuckness. Join us in learning more effective ways to help clients get unstuck!
I have been a member of the Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers (MINT) since 2011. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker & Addiction Therapist, and absolutely delight in helping individuals, groups, and organizations learn the essential skills of Motivational Interviewing.

What Continuing Education is available?
This workshop is approved by NAADAC and NBCC. You must complete the workshop and have a passing score on your quiz to access a certificate. Your licensure board may accept CE from these accreditation bodies. We encourage you to check! Regardless, you will be provided with a certificate of completion at workshop completion. You may request additional documentation that includes the 1-hour timeframe of the workshop, objectives, and trainer bio for submission to your licensure board.
How long do I have to complete the workshop?
You will have access to this 1-hour workshop for 30 days. Your access will automatically expire after 30 days.

Continue Education
- For CE, you must complete the course quiz and end of course evaluation in order to receive your certificate.
- We do not provide CE certificate for partial course completion.
- Following course completion and completion of End of Course evaluation, participants will receive an email with their downloadable CE certificate within 48 hours.
- Does your board not accept CE from any of our continuing education providers listed above? Upon workshop completion, you will receive a certificate of 1 hours of CE, and we will provide trainer bio and workshop objects to turn in to your board along with your certificate of completion.
