We are often asked by Motivational Interviewing learners, “How do I document that I used Motivational Interviewing?” Staff, agency leads, MI coaches and supervisors have reasons to focus on MI to documentation to demonstrate an evidence-based practice is being utilized! And, we know that the MI intention and skills that we bring to encounters with clients or patients impact the session and client outcomes!
We have THREE learning resources for you on this topic, from our free Motivational Interviewing Phrases in Documentation handout, to our 1-hour asynchronous course in addition to an annual synchronous full day of training (including a documentation assessment tool!).
