In this experiential ethics training, we will explore the intersections of ethics within the four processes of Motivational Interviewing. Join the amazing Dayna Guido and Hillary Logan as they partner together to dive deep into the ethics of Motivational Interviewing. Dayna, the “ethics enthusiast” has over 40 years of experience as clinical social worker, clinical supervisor, trainer, and author of Creative Ways to Learn Ethics. Hillary is a 12-year member of the Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers and has a vested interest in supporting learners in utilizing MI ethically! Participants will complete training with a thorough understanding of how to utilize Motivational Interviewing with the highest of ethics!

Speaker bios:
Hillary Logan MSW, LCSW, LCAS
Hillary Logan is a MINT Certified Trainer, and has been a member of the Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers (MINT) since 2011. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker & Addiction Therapist, and runs MI Center for Change, providing engaging, high quality training in Motivational Interviewing for the beginner through advanced learner. Hillary absolutely delights in helping individuals, groups, and organizations learn the essential skills of Motivational Interviewing, and has developed an online MI Certificate of Advanced Practice & MI Academy. Hillary has worked as a helping professional for 25 years, ranging from working in wilderness therapy to community mental health, providing in-home & school-based services, and as a therapist with specialties including working with anxiety, trauma, addiction, and veterans.


Dayna Guido, MSW, LCSW, ACSW
Is a licensed clinical social worker, supervisor, consultant, and trainer. She has a private practice in Asheville, NC specializing in providing clinical supervision and consultation. Dayna has been providing training to professionals for 40 years and was an Adjunct Instructor in graduate programs for 22 years.
Dayna became committed to combining the experiential teaching of ethics while providing quality clinical supervision after attending many didactic trainings which did not allow time as a participant to discuss at length, examine, and explore the topic being presented. Whether in her role as a clinical supervisor, trainer, or educator Dayna utilizes experiential learning techniques to engage professionals.
She serves on the NASW-NC Chapter Ethics Committee. Dayna co-authored the book, The Parental Tool Box for Parents and Clinicians. Dayna aspires to use her creative spirit supporting others in pursuit of healthy living.

For CE, you must watch the video, score a passing grade on the quiz and complete the end of course evaluation.
We do not provide CE certificate for partial completion.
Following the learning session and completion of End of Course evaluation, participants will receive an email with their downloadable CE certificate with 48 hours.
Does your board not accept CE from any of our continuing education providers listed above? Upon workshop completion, you will receive a certificate of 3 hours of CE, and we will provide trainer bio and workshop objects to turn in to your board along with your certificate of completion.
